Pennies for Prevention Drive – April 2010
Help us reach our goal of collecting 1,000,000 pennies! A coin drive is held throughout the month April in recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention month. We provide Blue Ribbon items that can be distributed to participants to reflect their contribution to child abuse prevention. Last year schools and businesses raised over $1,500 to support child abuse prevention programs here in Orange County!
Mother’s Day Drive – April 2010
The Caring for Kids Community will be collecting personal care/hygiene items such as soaps, shampoos, and lotions which will then be made into gift bags for mothers in need on Mother’s Day. In 2009 over 500 gift bags were distributed throughout Orange County!
