Blue Ribbon Month Kickoff Event

The 2026 Blue Ribbon Month Kickoff Event will take place in-person on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 at the Heritage Museum in Santa Ana at 12p.m. Please register for the Kickoff Event here.

Join Us for Our Annual Blue Ribbon Kickoff Ceremony

The Agenda includes:
  • ‍Paying tribute in memory and support of children.
  • Hearing a countywide update on child welfare.
  • Embracing inspiring stories from local difference makers.
  • Learning about Water Safety and Drowning Prevention.
  • Honoring adults and youth who advocate for child safety.
  • Dedicating a Pinwheels for Prevention® Garden.
  • "Preserving the Wonder of Childhood!"

Kalyna Astrinos is a 2x Emmy winning journalist currently working as a morning and midday anchor on KTNV ABC 13. She anchors Good Morning Las Vegas from 4:30AM to 7AM and 13 Action News Midday at 11AM.
